The CCS Waffle BLUE Foam Polishing Pad is a less dense foam formula for the application of cleaner waxes, polishes, and light compounds depending on the surface (paint, gel coat, etc). This pad has very light cutting power so it’s well suited for cleaning up compounding haze on colored gel coat.
CCS stands for collapsed cell structure. You'll find the CCS foam integration between the raised "waffle" section of each pad. The CCS foam design helps prevent excess product from being absorbed into the face of the pad, reducing the amount of product you need. Another benefit of the CCS foam design is keeping the surface wet with polish. Not only does this provide additional lubrication to help prevent marring, it provides a longer working time for your compound or polish of choice.
