Microfiber has special cleaning properties. For example, they have a split weave that creates liquid trapping compartments. Car care products and dirt residue build up in the weave. McKees's 37 Microfiber Cleaner & Rejuvenator deep cleans, degreases, and restores microfiber towels better than laundry detergent. This is accomplished with a blend of emulsifiers, surfactants, chelating agents and water softeners. Do not use fabric softeners, they eliminate the microfiber’s electric charge, and makes them ineffective for dusting. McKee's 37 Microfiber Cleaner leaves no residue and is completely biodegradable. Also, it can be used on natural chamois and terry cloth. This is a highly concentrated formula. One to two ounces can clean a half load of laundry. Two to three for a full load. Safe for use in high efficiency washers.
Microfiber Care Tips:
- Always wash microfiber separately from ordinary laundry. It will attract lint from other fabrics.
- Never use bleach, fabric softener, or dryer sheets.
- Tumble dry microfiber on low heat or no heat. Because microfiber is made of man made materials, intense heat could actually melt the fibers.
